What do we mean by ?

Description:

The Gendex 765DC is a high-frequency, direct-current intraoral radiographic unit with a fixed output of 65 kV and 7 mA. This output provides excellent image contrast and gray scale, and reduces patient exposure to radiation. The unit's control panel has five preset time settings identified by pictograms of anatomical areas of the mouth and single-button selections for patient size (adult or child) and for recording method (standard x-ray film or a digital receptor).

Features:
  • 21 time settings ranging from 0.02 to 2 seconds
  • Digitally displayed time on the control panel
  • 8 inch focal length with a 0.4mm focal spot
  • Exposure Time: 0.02 to 2 sec.
  • Intuitive control panel
  • X-ray generator for dental diagnostics
  • Smallest focal spot available on the market: 0.4
  • Can be switched to the pre-programmed mode
  • Automatically identifies the correct exposure times depending on the anatomic area selected
Benefits:
  • High quality images, characterized by minimizing shading around morphological structures
  • High level of definition
  • Easy and quick to switch
  • Can operate with digital equipment, such as intraoral sensors
  • Can operate with traditional radiographic film
  • Easy-to-use controls
